ISCHS

wins top award

On 29 Oct 2009 ISCHS was awarded one of the two top National Prizes for the CYFH program's ‘It all starts at home’ project.

This is the project developed in a collaboration between ISCHS, passionate community members, parents of abusive adolescents, the police and Monash University.

It targeted and reached parents abused by their children, building their capacity and that of other community members to respond to this vexed issue, researching the presentation and prevalence of the issue and developing multicultural resources that have now been distributed to over 15,000 people Australia wide (and further!).

The publications can be downloaded from here.
