Adolescent violence to parents

This booklet provides a resource for parents who experience violence from their adolescents. It helps parents identify violent behaviours, suggests strategies for dealing with adolescents and provides a contact list of services and agencies that can help parents deal with the traumatic situation they find themselves and their families experiencing.

It all starts at home

This research paper examines male adolescents’ abuse and violence to their sole parent mothers.

It gathers qualitative data from ten women, from a range of cultural backgrounds to gain a comprehensive understanding of their experiences of the abuse and violence from their sons.

Listening to what matters

Listening to What Matters reports on the experience of women (ex) partners of men who attended the Men’s Responsibility Program (MRP) at the Inner South Community Health Service (ISCHS) between July 2006 and July 2007. The women’s experiences confirm those of other women who have experienced abuse and violence.

Client Survey

"Ask me that when my health and housing are a lot better"
In order to better understand their health experience, we interviewed 736 clients (7.6% of current clients) between April and June 2009 using a structured survey tool. We captured what we found in the following reports.
